Implementing the State Council to promote the development of the software integrated circuit industry

Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council presided over the executive meeting of the State Council in recent days to study and deploy policies and measures to further encourage the development of the software industry and the integrated circuit industry.
In order to encourage the development of the software industry and the integrated circuit industry, the meeting identified the following policy measures:
(I) Strengthen investment and financing support. The central budget will invest in supporting the technological progress and technological transformation projects of qualified IC companies.
(b) Increase support for research and development.
(c) Implement tax incentives. Continue to implement the preferential policies for value-added tax on software products, and provide business tax and income tax concessions to qualified enterprises.
(d) Strengthen personnel training and introduction.
(5) Strictly implement the system of intellectual property protection for software and integrated circuits, and crack down on all types of infringements according to law.
